Employee onboarding surveys are invaluable for organizations. They offer insights into onboarding effectiveness, enhance engagement, pinpoint improvement areas, and contribute to positive employer branding.

These surveys enable continuous refinement of onboarding processes, ensuring a tailored and effective experience for new hires.

Here's a step-by-step tutorial on creating an employee onboarding survey:

  1. Creating a blank from

    Go to the dashboard, click on "+ Blank Formaloo" and choose "Blank form".

    Add your form title and description.

    You can also add the picture you need for your survey by clicking on uploade a cover picture you can add.

  2. Add fields to complete your employee onboarding survey

    By clicking on "+ add field" you get to choose our variety of question types. You can find:

    • Score 0-10 field: You can define the meaning of minimum/ maximum score, by adding a text in the "Minimum/Maximum Message" fields;

    • CSAT field: Feel free to change the icons on this field. CSAT field can help build trust and credibility with your audience;

    • Long text field: This field lets people share their thoughts freely in their own words;

  3. Preview your survey and share it with your team

    You can always preview your form by clicking on the "view" icon located in the upper right corner. You can also adjust the design of the survey by clicking on the icon next to the "view" icon.

    Also you can choose the form to be "Multi Item" (Questions displayed on different pages) or "Single Item" (Questions displayed on the same page).

    ​You can add new pages and insert your data from employee onboarding survey and have different views such as kanban and charts to present and showcase the survey results, and then share the app's access with their team.

    voilà! Now you can start using your survey or proceed to our suggested step. Just share the link to the survey to get responses.
