Step 1: Add your custom sender email to your Formaloo dashboard

Once you have your SMTP details and app password (if applicable), set up your custom SMTP in Formaloo:

  1. From your Formaloo dashboard, click on your profile icon.

  2. Go to the App Store, select Custom emails, and click on SMTP Settings.

  3. Enter the following details:

    • Name: A label for your SMTP configuration (e.g., "My Custom SMTP").

    • SMTP Username: Your full email address.

    • SMTP Password: The app-specific password or your email account password.

    • SMTP Host: The SMTP server address from your provider.

    • SMTP Port: The port number provided by your email service.

    • From Email: The email address that will appear as the sender.

    • Reply-to Email: The email address to which replies will be sent.

  4. After entering all required information, click "Save" to apply your custom SMTP settings.

Step 2: Create your custom email and choose your SMTP server

Now you can create custom email templates that will be sent via your SMTP server.

  1. In your Formaloo dashboard, go to Email Templates and create your custom email template.

  2. To send the email through your email server, go to the Email Server settings in the template editor.

  3. From the Email Server dropdown, select your email server instead of the default Formaloo system.
