Every formaloo you create in your dashboard is a fresh canvas where you can add whatever fields you want. Follow these steps to create your first form 🚀
Create a new formaloo from scratch
You can create your form from scratch. To create a new form, head to the dashboard, click "New Form" and choose from the available options.
There, you have options to create your survey/form and dashboard.
Choose Form or Survey: Select whether you want to create a form or a survey. Formaloo offers various options for creating different types of forms.
If you choose to create a form, Formaloo will automatically generate a default form with a results page and charts. You can customize these pages later.
Add fields and pages
Once the form or survey is created, you can enable edit mode and click on 'Edit form' to open the default template.
Here, you can edit the questions, add new ones, or customize the design according to your preferences.
Customize and design your Form
Navigate the right-side menu to change color and overall layout. There are different options on the settings tab.
Add your logo, Change the background, and customize the submit button color.
Write a short description on the first page of your compensation survey to Increase participation and set clear expectations for the survey.
Start with a ready-to-use template
To make it faster and easier, you can start by selecting one of Formaloo’s 200+ free-form templates to create the project you have in mind.
When you copy a template from the template gallery, you can edit and customize it.
Each form has a description, you can choose them based on your needs and customize them.
Publish and share your form
After finalizing your forms' content and design, publish your form to go live.
There are two ways to access and share the form's public URL and embedding options:
You can access the form URL address from the 'Embed' button on the dashboard:

Now, all forms have a public link you can share with your audience.

Embed your form into your website
Open your form and click on the 'Share' button. Then select "Embed" and copy the code:
How to see results and responses
To view your results and submitted data, go to the result page of your app, and there, you can see the result table.
If you have changed the form to one of your other forms, or you have created a new form inside your app, go to the settings and change the 'Data source' from the right-side menu (insert the form's name):
You can add another page and select the "Chart" or "Kanban" view to see your responses in other views.
To export responses, click on the six little dots that will appear on the 'Responses' page.
How to export responses
To export the submitted data, you can export it in an Excel file;
Click on the settings tab from the right-side menu. Then scroll down and select 'Export this table'.

One question at a time and classic forms
You can choose whether a form/survey will be one question at a time (multiple pages) or a classic form (single page) from the design tab of your base editor.
You can also add a page to the classic form, deciding the amount of fields displayed on each page.
