Multi-page classic forms help you create clean, step-by-step user journeys. Many creators want to hide or skip a full section when the user chooses a certain option. In Formaloo, this is fully possible using show and hide logic. Even if you are used to Typeform’s “sections”, the effect is the same: hide all fields on a page to make the
page disappear from the user flow.

What page skipping means in Formaloo
A classic form uses Page field to divide the flow into multiple pages. Each page contains a group of fields that act like a “section”.
When you want the user to skip a page, you only need to hide every field on that page based on the user’s answer. If the page contains no visible fields, Formaloo automatically jumps to the next page.
💡 Pro Tip: If you're new to multi-page forms, see how Page field works here:
How to use the page-break field.
Example scenario: Appointment form with 4 pages
Using the Appointment Form template, you might have:
Page 1: Purpose of visit (Consultation or Follow up)
Page 2: Preferred date and time (only needed for Consultation)
Page 3: Personal information
Page 4: Terms and conditions, additional notes
Goal: If the user selects Follow up, skip Page 2 completely.
💡 Pro Tip: You can apply this same logic to any multi-step form, including surveys, applications, onboarding, and more. Learn about show/hide logic here:
How to use show/hide logic.
How skipping works inside Formaloo
Page skipping is achieved by hiding all fields on a page.
In this scenario, Page 2 contains:
Choose your preferred date
Select a time slot
When these fields are hidden, Page 2 vanishes from the flow, and users go straight to Page 3.
💡 Pro Tip: Combine multiple conditions to build advanced branching flows. More details here: What is logic in Formaloo.
Step-by-step: How to skip a page using logic
Step 1. Open Advanced Logic
Open Advanced Logic from the right sidebar. This is where you create rules that control what users see.
Step 2. Add a new rule
Find the question that should trigger the skip. In our example:
What is the purpose of your appointment?
Select Add rule.
Step 3. Set the condition
Define when the skip should happen. For example:
If Purpose of appointment is Follow up
This tells Formaloo when Page 2 should be hidden.
Step 4. Hide all fields on the page you want to skip
Choose Hide, then select every field on Page 2:
Choose your preferred date
Select a time slot
When these fields are hidden, Page 2 is skipped automatically.
