If you're receiving an email notification for every new submission on your order or quotation form – but you only want to be notified when at least one product is actually selected – you can switch from regular email notifications to conditional email rules.
Conditional emails trigger only when the specific conditions you set are met, such as when any Product field contains a selected quantity.
Step 1 (optional): Disable regular email notifications if you don't need those
In the Notify tab, you can turn off the regular “Receive email notifications” unless you'd like to receive one on any new,
Step 2: Enable conditional email notifications instead
Jump to Set up custom email rules from the Notify tab (alternatively, you can go to your form's Settings → Advanced logic, and scroll down to the On Submit logic there):
Step 3: Create a conditional email notification rule in On Submit logic section
Scroll down to the On submit section, and add a new rule:
IF product field A is answered
Click + Add condition, set the operator to OR,
IF product field B is answered
Repeat for all your product fields – this way the rule triggers only if any product was actually selected.
THEN Send email using template to email
Enter the email address where you want to receive it.
Step 4: Save your logic
With this setup, you’ll only receive the email when at least one product has a quantity selected.
