Updated over 3 weeks ago

Need a PDF version of a signed contract form? Formaloo makes it easy to generate and download printable PDFs for individual submissions, complete with signatures and form data.

💡 Feel free to grab a ready-to-use NDA contract form template with Signature fields, and customize it for your own use case in minutes.

Step 1: Find the submission you want to print

  • Open your project containing the signature form, then navigate to the page displaying your submissions – this can be a table, kanban board, or gallery.

  • Click on the row or card to expand the submission details, and scroll to the very bottom of the right-hand expanded view:

Step 2: Generate a PDF using a default or custom PDF template

At the bottom of the submission view, you’ll find the option Generate PDF using, followed by a dropdown menu to pick a template. From here, you can:

  • Generate a PDF using the default template (default printable copy),

  • Choose one of your custom templates to generate a tailored/branded PDF, or

  • Click + Add new template to create one on the go.

🎨 You can fully customize your PDFs – including your brand identity, layout, and which form or submission details are included:

Once you’ve selected a template, click Generate. The new PDF will appear under Generated PDFs at the bottom of the submission:

Step 3: Download or print the generated PDF

When the PDF is ready, click its name to open it in a new tab. From there, you can:

  • Download the PDF to your device, or

  • Print it directly using your browser’s print dialog:

ℹ️️ Each generated PDF will be stored in each submission for easy future access. You can jump to all PDFs from the Generated PDFs column in your Responses table.

You can generate multiple PDFs using different templates for the same signed submission – for instance, one for your internal archive and another for your client. Or, regenerate a PDF using the same template if any submission data is updated later:

💡 You can also attach the generated PDF to your email notifications received by your team or sent to the respondents/signees:
