Updated this week

Duplicating a form or app in Formaloo is a great way to save time by reusing your structure, logic, and settings without needing to rebuild from scratch.

You can use this when creating similar surveys, applications, or workflows with consistent styles and rules.

Follow the steps below to duplicate a Formaloo and rename it as needed.

Step 1: Locate the form or app you want to duplicate

Go to your Formaloo dashboard and find the form or project you'd like to copy.

Step 2: Open the options menu

Click on the three dots (⋮) next to the name of the form or app.
From the dropdown menu, select Duplicate.

Step 3: Rename the duplicated form

A pop-up window will appear.

  • Enter a new name for your duplicated form.

  • Click Continue to finalize duplication.

Your duplicated form will now appear in your dashboard under the new name.

What gets copied in the duplicated form?

The duplicated form retains:

  • Form Logic: Includes all conditional logic, calculations, and dynamic flows.

  • Structure: Whether it’s a single-step (classic) or multi-step (one-question-at-a-time) layout.

  • Design settings: Theme colors, fonts, and other design customizations.

  • Notification settings: Any custom email templates or form notifications.

What doesn't get copied?

Note: Responses and submission data from the original form are not transferred to the duplicated version.

That means the new form starts fresh, with no previous entries or analytics carried over.
