How to enlarge the data blocks to take 100% of the page

Learn how to make Responses tables, Kanban boards, and other data blocks span the full width of your app page by adjusting the page width (Standard, Wide, or Narrow) in the Page options.

Updated over 2 weeks ago

When you add data blocks (like Table, Kanban, or Chart) to your Formaloo pages, they inherit the width from the page they are added to.

If your Responses table, Kanban board, or other data block appears narrower than expected and requires horizontal scrolling, it’s usually because the page itself is set to Standard width.

By changing the Page width setting, you can allow all elements on the page to expand and occupy more horizontal space.

How to make Responses tables or Kanban boards span the full page width?

Follow these steps:

  1. Switch to the Edit mode

    • To be able to adjust the page options, make sure you switch to the Edit mode at the top center of your app.

  2. Open your page options

    • In your workspace dashboard, look at the left sidebar,

    • Hover over the page you want to edit, click the three dots (…) next to the page name,

    • Select Page options from the menu.

  3. Change the page width

    • A sidebar will open on the right. In Page width, switch it from Standard to Full width.

  4. See the difference!

    • Once applied, your data blocks will automatically expand to fill the entire page width,

    • This is especially useful when displaying large tables, detailed kanban boards, or complex charts where more screen space improves readability.

💡 Use the full-width option when you’re sharing dashboards publicly or using them in client portals, so your audience has a clearer view of your data.

⚠️ Avoid full width when your page contains text blocks or articles. Long lines of text become harder to read on wide pages. Keeping a narrower width improves readability and user experience.
