How to customize choice fields' label colors in Tables, Kanban boards, and Galleries

Customize the colors of choice field options' labels in your Tables, Kanban boards, and Galleries to make your data easier to read, organize, and navigate.

When reviewing submissions in your Tables, Kanban boards, or Galleries, you'll see selected options from choice fields like Single Choice, Multi Choice, Dropdown appear as colored labels.

You can now customize the color of each option individually, giving you more control over how your data is displayed, and making it easier to quickly scan and manage large datasets.

Perfect for color-coding statuses, categories, priorities, and other important information.

For example, you might want to:

  • Show "Completed" in green and "Rejected" in red

  • Highlight "Urgent" in yellow

  • Use consistent colors for different departments or categories

How to customize choice field colors

To customize label colors:

  1. Open the page with your Table, Kanban board, or Gallery

  2. Make sure you're in the Edit more, and hover over the data block

  3. Open the Options menu

  4. Select Choice colors

From there, you'll see all available options for your choice fields and can assign a color to each one:

💡 You can choose from Light or Dark color palettes. Pick whichever style works best for your workflow and visibility preferences:

If your form contains multiple Single Choice fields, each field instance can have its own color scheme.

This means the same choice field can use different colors in two different Tables, or in a Kanban board vs Gallery, if needed.
