How to create a Memory Form?

How to enable the Memory form feature to connect forms to user profiles for automatic pre-filling and a faster user experience

Updated this week

Formaloo's Memory Form feature creates a smarter, more efficient form experience by connecting each response directly to a user's profile. Once users create a profile, their information is automatically saved and can pre-fill future forms, eliminating repetitive data entry and saving time for both you and your respondents.

Follow these steps to enable this feature:

1. Create your form

Start by building a new form or editing an existing one. Add all the fields you need to collect information from your users.

2. Add User Profile field

Edit your form and add the User Profile field. Connect this field to your existing user directory. If you haven't created a user directory yet, you'll be prompted to set one up.

3. Finalize and share

Once connected, your form will recognize returning users and pre-fill their information automatically. You can customize which information appears and how it's displayed.

Congratulations! You've successfully activated the Memory Form feature. Now when users sign in to complete your form, their saved information will auto-populate relevant fields, creating a faster, more personalized experience.

Pro tip: The system can display identified user information (like email) within the form, providing transparency about which account is being used and ensuring users know their information is being securely accessed.
