How to transfer your old forms to the new dashboard

Follow these simple steps to transfer your existing forms from the old dashboard to the new dashboard in Formaloo. This guide will help you migrate your forms along with all their responses, ensuring a smooth transition.

Step 1: Access the new dashboard and search for your form

  1. Log in to your Formaloo account.

  2. Locate the Search bar at the top left side of the dashboard.

  3. Type in the name of the form you want to transfer.

  4. Once your form appears in the search results, click on it.

Step 2: Transfer the form

  1. A pop-up box will appear with options for your form.

  2. Click on the "Add the base to a new project" option.

Step 3: Open the new app to edit or customize it

  1. After clicking "Add the base to a new project," a new app will open automatically.

  2. This new app will contain both the form and the result page.

    • Important: All results and responses associated with the form will be migrated and transferred to the new app within the new dashboard.

Pro tip:

Customizing your form design

  • The design of your form may change slightly after the transfer.

  • To modify the design or fields:

    1. Click on "Edit form" within the new app.

    2. Make the necessary changes to suit your preferences.

By following these steps, you’ll successfully transfer your forms and data to the new Formaloo dashboard, ensuring everything is in place in the updated system.

📝 Additional insights:

You can also transfer your old forms to the new 3.0 dashboard by right-clicking on your formaloo in the old dashboard, then selecting "Transfer to new dashboard".
