In Formaloo, a project is your top-level container. Every project can have one or more forms attached to it. Whether you want to add a brand-new form or reuse a form you've already built elsewhere in your workspace, you can do both directly from inside any existing project.
When to use this
Your project is already set up and you want to collect new data without starting from scratch
You have a standalone form in your workspace and want to surface it inside an existing project or portal
You're building a multi-form project, like a registration form on one page and a feedback form on another
You want to reuse the same form across multiple projects without duplicating it
You're adding a new step to an existing workflow (e.g., an approval form, a follow-up survey, or an intake sheet)
Step-by-step
1. Open your existing project
Go to your Formaloo home screen and click the project you want to add a form to. This opens the project editor. Enable the edit mode on your project. You’re now ready to add blocks to the page. ✨
2. Navigate to the page where you want to add the form
In the left sidebar, click the page you want the form to appear on. If you want to create a new page for it, click the + icon at the bottom of the page list.
3. Add a form block to the page
There are two ways to add a new form block:

/forminside the page canvas and select the Form option in the data blocks.Click the
+button inside the page canvas to open the block picker. Select Form from the list of available block types.
4. Option A: add a new form to your project
Use this path when you want to build a form from scratch.
Choose "Create new form"
A dialog will open asking whether you want to create a new form or connect an existing one. Select Create new form. This will take you to the form editor so you can start building your form from scratch.
4. Option B: connect an existing form from your workspace
Use this path when you've already built a form and want to attach it to a different or additional project without rebuilding it.

Search the form title you want to add to this project. Then, select it to add it to the form.
Final result
Your existing project now has a new form block live on one of its pages. If you created a new form, it's ready to be customized with fields, logic, and automation. If you connected an existing form, it's immediately active and collecting form submissions alongside any other projects it belongs to. Either way, all form submissions are stored in Formaloo and viewable from the data table inside your project.
This setup is particularly useful for multi-form projects like onboarding workflows, HR portals, or approval systems where different pages serve different purposes, and for teams that want to reuse a single source-of-truth form across several projects without maintaining separate copies.
