Updated yesterday

Changing the Back button text

The Back button is a global navigation element. Its label is managed through the form’s translation and customization settings.

To change it:

  1. Open your form in the Form Editor.

  2. Open the Form settings sidebar.

  3. Navigate to the Translation and Customization tab.

  4. Find the Back button label and update the text as needed.

This change applies to all steps and pages in the form where the Back button appears.

Changing the Continue button text

The Continue button is a field-level element. Each Continue button can have its own label, depending on where it’s used in the form.

To change it:

  1. Open your form in the Form Editor.

  2. Click directly on the Continue button inside the form canvas.

  3. In the field settings panel, update the button label.

This change only affects the selected Continue button, allowing you to use different labels on different steps if needed.

Why these settings are separate

Back is a shared navigation action, so it’s managed globally through translations. Continue buttons are part of the form flow and can vary by step, which is why they’re configured at the field level.

Summary

  • Back button text is changed from the Translation and Customization tab in form settings.

  • Continue button text is changed by selecting the button inside the form editor.

  • Both buttons are fully customizable, but from different locations.
