You can enable the tracking code functionality on your form to generate a unique identifier for each submission.
This allows you to easily track and manage your submissions. Whether you're analyzing which marketing campaigns drive the most conversions or helping your support team quickly locate specific inquiries in your ticketing system.
For instance, imagine a user submitting a question through a contact form. With a tracking code, they can easily reference it when seeking follow-up assistance, ensuring your team can efficiently investigate and provide the best possible support.
Here are the steps to enable tracking code on your form:
1. Enable the tracking code
On your Formaloo dashboard, open your formaloo and edit the form to which you want to add a tracking code. There, at the "Form settings" sidebar, you can enable the "Show tracking code after submit" toggle.
2. Show the tracking code on the success page
Now, it's time to show the tracking code on your form's ending page. If you have multiple ending pages and want to show the tracking code on all of them, follow this step for each one separately.
To show the tracking code on your ending page, all you should do is type @tracking. That's it! Formaloo will replace each submission's tracking ID with this.
3. Preview changes
Your form now shows a unique tracking code on each form submission. Your audience can copy and save it to follow up and track their submissions.
🗄️ Old dashboard:
After editing your formaloo, go to the form's Settings tab and enable the “Show tracking code after submitting the form” option.
You’re done setting up your application tracking code! Now, your audience will receive a code when they submit your form. When they send you the code, you can search it in your formaloo and review the application information. Each form has unique tracking codes, so you can easily track them.
