How to Import data from Excel, Google Sheets, or Google Forms

You can import your Excel sheet or Google Sheets and Google Forms and create your form with your data.

Importing data into Formaloo is quick and easy, whether you’re working with Excel files, Google Sheets, or Google Forms.

Follow these steps to import your data seamlessly:

Step 1: Open your Formaloo dashboard

  1. Log in to your Formaloo account.

  2. On the dashboard, click the Import button located at the top-right corner.

Step 2: Choose your import method

A popup will appear with two tabs offering different import options:

1. Upload file (Excel)

  • Select the Upload File tab.

  • Upload your data in .xlsx format (Excel file). Only .xlsx files are supported.

  • Click Import Data to bring in the data.

2. Import from Google

Select the Import from the Google tab.

You’ll see two options:

Import from Google Sheets:

  • Insert the Sheet Title and the Sheet URL.

  • Click Import to bring in the data.

Import from Google Forms:

  • Select the Google Form you want to import.

  • Provide the Form Title.

  • (Optional) Check the box labeled Import responses to also bring in any existing responses to the form.

Once you've followed the necessary steps for your preferred method, your data will be imported into Formaloo and ready for use!
