When having your forms connected to Google Sheets, you may received an automated email from Google insicating that the sync was paused, saying something like:
Check ownership, access levels, and connection settings. Reconnect with proper access.
This error message means that there's an authorization issue in your current integration with Google.
It could happen for 3 reasons:
You are not the owner of the form
You don't have enough access to the Google Sheets you're trying to connect
A different Google account is currently connected in your Formaloo profile, or the connection is outdated
To solve this, make sure:
You're the owner of the form, which means you must have created it with your current account. Only the user who has created the form can connect it to third-party tools to it.
The Google account you connected to your Formaloo workspace has sufficient access to the Google Sheets (editor) you're trying to connect here.
You have the same account connected in your Formaloo profile, providing all requested access levels when connecting.
ℹ️ If you're unsure whether you've provided necessary access while connecting your Google account, remove the Google connection and reconnect.
Open your Formaloo profile, scroll to the bottom and disconnect your Google account,
Sign in to your Google account, and open your Third-party apps and services. Find Formaloo and disconnect all connections to Formaloo.
Reconnect your Google account in Formaloo profile, giving Formaloo access to edit your Google Sheets and sync your data.
When connecting the Sheet, make sure the title of the Sheet and its URL match the Sheet you want to be synced with your formaloo data.
ℹ️ Remember when you are adding your Google Sheet, the sheet title is at the bottom of the page, and you should have that specific sheet open when copying the relevant sheet URL as well.
For example, if you want to change sheet 2 to sheet 1, both the title and URL of the sheet will be different and should be updated in your integration settings:
